I have three years worth of data that I need to show in a graph.
When I plot all of the data points, it becomes congested and does not look good.
I am trying to use datascrolling option in the graph so that I can show one year's worth of data and then have the user use the slider to go to next year's data and so on.
The slider shows up in the graph. But, I am not able to move the slider.
did anyone use this before?

Hello Waz,
I am able to get the scroll bar working.
I did not set graphengine=old.
That is why I did not get the scrollbar.
But now, I am not sure how to connect the plot points.
I see the graph with all the data points but I do not see a line connecting them anymore.
Here is the sample car file:
SET GRAPHENGINE = OLD
GRAPH FILE CAR
SUM CAR.BODY.SEATS
ACROSS CAR.ORIGIN.COUNTRY
ON GRAPH SET LOOKGRAPH VLINE
ON GRAPH SET GRAPHEDIT OFF
ON GRAPH SET BARNUMB OFF
ON GRAPH SET 3D OFF
ON GRAPH SET VZERO ON
ON GRAPH SET GRID ON
ON GRAPH SET GRAPHSTYLE *
setDepthAngle(0);
setDepthRadius(0);
setScrollOffsetGroups(1);
setScrollOffsetSeries(0);
setViewableGroups(2);
setViewableSeries(0);
setMarkerDisplay(true);
setConnectLineMarkers(false);
setConnectScatterMarkers(false);
setO1LabelDisplay(true);
setO1AxisSide(0);
setO1MajorGridDisplay(true);
setO1MajorGridStyle(0);
setO1MinorGridDisplay(false);
setAxisAssignment(0,0);
setY1LabelDisplay(true);
setY1AxisSide(0);
setY1MajorGridDisplay(true);
setY1MajorGridStyle(0);
setY1MinorGridDisplay(false);
setTextFormatPreset(getY1Label(),-1);
setTextFormatPattern(getY1Label(),"#.##");
setPieFeelerTextDisplay(1);
setPieLabelDisplay(0);
setTextFormatPreset(getPieSliceLabel(),1);
setRiserBorderMode(1);
setSeriesDefaultTransparentBorderColor(true);
setUseSeriesBorderDefaults(true);

setFontSizeAbsolute(getY2Title(),true);
setFontSizeAbsolute(getY2Label(),true);
setFontSizeAbsolute(getO1Title(),true);
setO1LabelAutofit(true);
setPlace(false);
ENDSTYLE
ON GRAPH SET STYLE *
$
ENDSTYLE
END
