Does anyone have experience with SUFFIX=XML? I especially seem to have issues joining them together. (Takes a long time, doesn't return the right data). There is no documentation on this in the knowledgebase that I can find. We are on WF 5.21. Thanks.

I think you need to upgrade to Release 5.3.2 to
get the xml to work. You have to use the
WebConsole create synonym to make the MFD.
And you have to make sure that any required
place holders that are needed if you are running a webservice.
You should also search the Tech Doc Library (link on
top of FocalPoint page).

I am able to create the synonyms fine with our current version of the web console. I can also edit them if they aren't correct. We have no problem accessing the XML files singly either.
( I wrote the reports I needed by TABLE each XML file separately, holding each as format Focus, and joining those together, or else using MATCH file.)
My problems are specifically with joins. I have searched the Doc library, and in fact can find no information on this topic. (There are no error messages, just incorrect results, and too long a time processing.)
(I have also opened a case on it, IBI tech support is researching the problem.)
I was just wondering if anyone else has used this data type, and has experience with joins of XML files.
