We often create DB2 temporary tables during processing (hold files) because we need to join later to other DB2 tables.
We recently migrated to DB2 10.5 (Windows) where now DB2 compressing is used. DBA is requesting us also to use table compressing when creating (especially larger) DB2 tables (CREATE TABLE .... COMPRESS YES ...)

Does someone know how to arrange that from WebFocus? Maybe some adapter setting?

thanks, Martin.

Martin,

As this time WebFOCUS does not support the compression you are referring to.

You can make New Feature Request for this option.

All we require is to open a case or call in (1-800-736-6130). We required a brief business justification stating why this is required and how it will benefit your User and Developer community.

Thank you for participating in the Focal Point Forum.

Kindest regards,

Hi Tamra,
Thanks for you repsonse.
I decided it is better to arrange outside of the WF tools. If I need a compressed table I can create within DB2 and create synonym within WF/DM.
regards, Martin.
