I might have asked this before, but.... We're running Mainframe FOCUS Rel 7.1.1 and my question is this: Can I save my program report output as an Excel file, complete with subtotals, subfoots, subheads, and so forth? If I can't, how would I get those subtotals and so forth into an Excel file?

Again, I'm runnig Mainframe FOCUS Rel 7.1.1, which I know is antique, but it's all we've got.

Thanks in advance!

Hi - I am not sure if this will do the trick, however give it a try.
http://techsupport.information...om/sps/81111009.html

It involves using APPEND and HOLD FORMAT LOTUS.
Cheers

I don't think EXL2K is a valid format for MF v7.0.

Excel is a Microsoft Windows product. I don't think you can use it on the mainframe. You might try DIF or LOTUS. Your file extention should be .DIF or .PRN (for Lotus).
