Ok I am trying to set up a compound report in report caster and it says that there is no report to distribute. The report works fine running it in IE, but will not be created in RC. It is supposed to email a pdf attachment to me.

Here is some sample code using CAR and still gives me the same issue:

The problem could also be in ReportCaster in stead of the report itself.
In the Distribution tab, is "Send all reports as attachments" set on?

If so, can you add a -SET &ECHO='ALL'; to your fex and then run the schedule again. Afterwards check the last log of the schedule on any error message.

It could also be that the include of your style sheet can not be found by ReportCaster.

Ok, so I took out the include on the stylesheets and added &ECHO = ALL to my code and still get an error. It is set up to send the report as an attachment. Here is my modified code and the error I am getting from RC. I did notice that somehow it is adding a 'SET DISTRIBUTE = OFF' after my code is done.

In WebFOCUS 8 you do not need to specify a format in the schedule. The output will be distributed in the format produced by the procedure. However, there is a know issue with the particular compound report syntax that you are using that requires that the format for distribution be specified at schedule execution time. If you edit the schedule, check the 'Override the format...' option in the Task window, and select PDF from the format drop-down list the report should distribute successfully. The problem is being documented. It does not occur with compound reports produced by Info Assist.

That seemed to do it! I didn't think you would have to force the document into the same format. Thanks for the help Gerry.
