is there any alternative while reporting from teradata data source, other than using Volatile table which is resource intensive.

Hi focuzsambit,

Heard from our iWay person: Yes - WebFOCUS does report off Teradata.

The following manual on Teradata may be of interest:

Using the Adapter for Teradata
You will need to have an InfoResponse username/password to access the manual.

Hope this helps. Smiler

Cheers,

Kerry

Thanks Tom,

I have a CLIST for setting up FOCUS in MVS. Is it possible to connect to Teradata thru the same CLIST by editing it ? I have one application specific CLIST which does this, But I am trying to have same kind of CLIST for my personal use. Please let me know how it can be done ?

Thanks

For DB2 search the documentation for:
DB2 & SQL/DS Read/Write Interface Installation Guide
Release 7.0
DN1000937.0997

...and for accessing DB2 or Teradata data sources refer to:
FOCUS for S/390 Relational Data Adapter
User’s Manual
Version 7.2
DN1001155.1002

ttfn, kp

Access to most releases from R52x, on multiple platforms.
