Hi, Is there a way to modify a webfocus message ?
if our reporting server goes down the message you receive in portals is:

Reporting Server Error
Reporting Server not running/responding Node=EDASERVE

We would like to customize this message, is there a way to do that?
Thanks

I believe that's not possible, but imho I would try to resolve the unavailability of the reporting server if you are able to? It's something that should not occur too often?

Yes, agree. This came up since we installed F5 Load Balancing on the web server only. If the reporting server goes down F5 does not switch to the other reporting server.
Thanks

I have edited a.k.a. hacked the mainframe focus message data. You might seach for the message character string and see what you find. Be very careful best not to change the text length. HAVE A FALLBACK!
