When trying to create a report or creating a MATCH using the MATCH wizard, I select a VIEW that is available in the WebFocus table list. After selecting the view, I noticed that two fields are missing from the list of available fields.

In trying to determine why these two fields are missing, as a test I went to the Command Console and executed the following:

1. ?FF (The list of fields in the view did include the 2 missing fields.

2. Executed the command

TABLE FILE
PRINT *
END

The display of the records in the view did include 2 missing fields.

Any suggestion why fields would not show up?

What are the two missing fields ?
What is the format of the two missing fields ?
Are the missing fields on the first file or second ?

Execute APP SHOWPATH in both situations and compare the results.

I would hazard a guess that there is another synonym being picked up first in one scenario that does not include the two fields in which you have interest.

Still unresolved what's going on but have been moved on to another project. Will revisit at a later time. Thanks for all that replied.
