If I have 2 different fexes, that create several temporary HOLD files in the same name, and I run the fexes simultaneously, are the 2 sets of HOLD files going to interfere? Are they going to be created in their own session and hence my results wouldn't vary?
Can somebody please confirm?

Unless you're using FILEDEF or APP commands to have the HOLD files allocated to the same physical location it shouldn't matter that the files have the same names. After every execution of a fex, the HOLD files are deleted, unless you're using SET TEMPERASE=OFF to NOT have the files deleted.

So even if these 2 procedures run simulatenously it should not be a problem?? Will the HOLD files be visible to only that particular session?

Each simultaneously run fex runs with its own agent and work area, on the server in directories in C:\ibi\srv76\wfs\edatemp\ts000001, ts000002, ts000003, etc.
