I have a Advanced Schedule to run Daily from 7:25 AM until 6:49 PM every 15 minutes.
I haven't seen this before but this morning (March 2:nd) at 8:45, I made a change to the Settings, enabling Full Notification on error.
I can see from the log that the Schedule ran at 7:25 and 8:40 due to NEXTRUNTIME.
I ran the job manually to make sure it works.
However, now i see in Report Caster Administration that next run time is March 03 at 07:25 AM.

Is a manual run of the schedule resetting Next Run Time to the next day?

Regards, Mats

As documented in the ReportCaster Development and Administration Manual when a schedule is created or updated the next run time is recalculated using only the primary run interval. The calcuation of the next run time at schedule creation time and as the result of an update does not include a secondary run interval.

That doesn't explain why the next run date for Mats' schedule is the next day, not the next 15 minutes based on the originally created date/time or the updated date/time, or does "secondary run interval" mean the 15 minute interval?

I agree with Francis. I have a start date that it way back in time. Otherwise it is impossible to make changes to a schedule like i do except maybee if i move forward the starting time, meaning it will start later the next day also which i don't want.

The original post describes an 'Advanced Daily schedule' that runs every 15 minutes. I interpret that to mean a schedule with a Primary run interval (Daily) and a Secondary run interval (every 15 minutes between certain times). If this interpretaion is incorrect then my explantion does not apply. If the interpretation is correct then if the described schedule is updated the next run time will be recalculated and only the Primary interval will be used in the recalculation of the next run time. In other words, if you update the schedule during the period of the secondary run interval the next run time will be set to tomorrow.

Correct Gerry. I think i understand the behaviour now. I expected that the recalculation would be done based on both primary and secondary interval.
