[SOLVED] Drop down missing in Test environment but present in Production

We have test envoriment where we found one of the dropdown from the report was missing. To test and see if it was data issue or not. I created a test .fex using CAR here is the code:

In production the drop down for 'BODYTTYPES' is present but in test it is missing. It just show the 'SELECT BODY TYPES' and that is it. No drop down.

We are using Tomcat as the application server in both enviroment. Using IIS as the web server.

Can anything in Tomcat cause this kind of issue?

Is the ibisamp directory in the application path is edasprof.prf?

Yes.

Here is what I found. In my test server the version is 7.6.9 Gen# 353.
In my production the version is 7.6.10 Gen# 379.

Can that cause this problem? I am not sure.

Versions should not matter.

Do any Dropdowns work in Test?

Yes. Even the one I uploaded works if I remove the code:


MEASURE/D20 = IF &BODYTYPE EQ 'SEDAN' THEN

As soon as I introduce the reference of &BODYTYPE, the drop down disappears.

Could this have something to do with the autoprompt setting, "IBIF_wfdescribe" found in Admin Console > Configuration > Client Settings > Parameter Prompting? Compare the settings of the two environments.

Upgrading the test Reporting Server to 7.6.10 resolved the issue
