Hello

Because of some network changes I have to move my WebFOCUS installations to new servers.
I was planning to create a new installation on the new server and copy over all configuration files
from the old environment. I also have to move the repository database which is on Centos server.
I was planning to load all data into new database instance then configure it as the new installations
repository and hoped that all reports-portals-rules will then appear in the new installation.
Has anyone done this and have some suggestions?

Thanks

Hello Ra!n,

I would suggest using the Change Management utility to copy all of your content. It will allow you to copy over existing rules as well as all of your reports and portals.

Please let me know if there is anything I can do to help you.

I am attempting to move my repository. I restored a backup of the repository to the new server. It appears to have the same security. I updated the config file and it can not find the new repository. Any suggestions of want I should do?>
