3 quick points about LET for you.
1. To test the LET in effect issue a: ? LET
2. To clear a LET issue a LET CLEAR ABC
where ABC is the name of your LET in effect.
3. LET CLEAR * - clears out 'all' LET in effect at the time. I seem to remember as a side effect of issuing such a command (from my ibi days so loooong ago) that there was a time when LET CLEAR * cleared out all joins as well (so long ago-and so NOT documented, but not positive; however, easy enough to test).
