Good Morning Everyone,

I am attempting to create an html parameter page that i can use to run different reports. I want to have the html page in one panel and the reports run in a different panel in the BIP, basically the same functionality that is available if i chose the "frame" option in tasks & animations in an html page. I don't want to use that option because it doesn't scale very well and its not responsive. I was considering a javascript approach but i thought i would ask the group before i got into some custom scripting. Thanks in advance!

The HTML Composer tool absolutely sucks when trying to build something responsively. I would utilize the existing responsive panel element option when building your portal within the Portal Designer. We have tended to stick our HTML filters form in the left banner that effects all panels within all pages of the portal. For page level filtering, IBI has barely just released an RDF add-on option for 8.1.05+ that gives you some template responsive pages with collapsible filters up top and to the side with better responsive behavior for locked/canned reporting pages. Haven't tried to drag and drop content within the template paneling as of yet, but I assume that isn't a possibility. We are just starting to dig into it ourselves.

8.2.02M (production), 8.2.02M (test), Windows 10, all outputs.
