Has anyone had some tables fail during install?
Most tables are built but some error like below. I increased table space size to 32k but still get -286 error.

A default table space could not be found with a page size of at least pagesize that authorization ID user-name is authorized to use.

Explanation
The CREATE TABLE or DECLARE GLOBAL TEMPORARY TABLE statement did not specify a table space, and a table space of the right type (USER TEMPORARY for declared temporary table) with sufficient page size (at least pagesize), over which authorization ID user-name has USE privilege, could not be found.

Sufficient page size for a table is determined by either the byte count of the row or the number of columns.

User response
Ensure the existence of a table space of the correct type (REGULAR or USER TEMPORARY) with a page size of at least pagesize and that authorization ID user-name has USE privilege on this table space.


Above the official explanation of the SQL error. You error message indicates SQLERRMC=8192, so a minimum pagesize of 8K is required, so your 32K should be sufficient.

I would suggest you check the type of tablespaces you have, and if user WBFADMIN has the correct rights to use the tablespaces.

I am not a DBA, I just read the IBM information on the DB2 error. It seems both REGULAR and USER TEMPORARY are correct types for the table space.

Ended up creating tables manually, there are some tables from previous version in there that are no longer used. The utility will create the sql to manually build tables (exportcfg.bat)
