I like the fact that we can "ON TABLE PCHOLD FORMAT XLSX in IA".

But, can we name that XLSX file from within InfoAssist+ (8202M Gen 60)? If so, How?

I'm just so used to coding. But, now I need to use IA to show my users how it, IA, get's the job done..

Thanks, Doug

Doug- We can definitely name the xlsx file via editor mode but, naming the file by just using IA UI functionality looks slim. Not, sure if there is any such option (atleast I haven't come across).

Thank you

Just try this

In Home tab-> Select the output file format as XLSX.
You can also able to see Excel(XLSX), Excel Formula(XLSX), Excel Formula & Excel(CSV).

Doug

I think the best you can do is after you open the xlsx file is to use File / Save As to give it your own name.

Thank you for using Focal Point!

Thanks for all these thoughts...

1) "naming the file by just using IA UI functionality looks slim. Not, sure if there is any such option (atleast I haven't come across)."
   * That seems to be the reality. Frowner

2) "In Home tab-> Select the output file format as XLSX"
   * That does give me the output formats but not the ability to name that file.

3) "I think the best you can do is after you open the xlsx file is to use File / Save As to give it your own name."
   * I want to avoid that if at all possible.

4) Edit the fex in text after it's been created in IA and add " As 'ThisName' "
   * Seems to be the best at this time. I think it'll be added in 85xx.
