Wanted to see if its possible to add a message to the loading screen once the report is done to check the excel icon (instance). Right now we have users who run multiple excel reports and if a user has excel already open and run a report most of the time they don't see the excel icon flashing stating its done. I want to add a message to the loading screen once the report is done to please check the excel icon (instance) to view the report.
And, I'll keep an eye on this to see where it goes. I'm pretty sure that once it's "out of the hands of WebFOCUS" there's not much that can be done with it. and WebFOCUS can't "see" if there's an instance of Excel already / previously open.
But, here's hoping for a solution...
