Hi ,

Can we built custom resource tree with webfocus security for open portal services ? We would like to go for bit more modern design for the resource tree

I do not think that is possible with Open Portal Servcies the web parts are not customizable as far as I know. You may want to open a case with techsupport to get a definitive answer.
