I'm using HFREEZE in an html environment (7.6.6) and having zero luck making the titles appear above their respective columns. Am I the only one with this problem? What I'm getting instead is badly misaligned titles for the content underneath, and it's nearly impossible to make them match up. Note that I have images and hotlinks in my table.

For the moment I've just turned the feature off. If anyone has a good method for making the alignment work I'm all ears.

J.

I just gave up implementing this about three minutes ago!

A simple test works, but including images or other CSS styling breaks HFREEZE.

I thought I'd try applying it manually, based on the HTML generated by this simple fex:
TABLE FILE CAR
PRINT
*
HEADING
"WEBFOCUS REPORT"
ON TABLE SET PAGE NOLEAD
ON TABLE SET HTMLCSS ON
ON TABLE SET STYLE *
TYPE=REPORT, HFREEZE=ON, SCROLLHEIGHT=4, $

ENDSTYLE
END

I can't make it work.

Francis

See this other post - we use an Excel image for different output. It is done manually though, probably not what you want.

Just showing it can be done...

I've just turned it off and set the table's LINES setting to 18. At that point my iframe with the table in it always has the titles showing somewhere in view. Given my deadline I don't have time to work the titles into the heading.

Thanks for the response!

John, this is actually a known bug with HFREEZE in some versions of WF 766 being one of them.

Depending on the number and/or combination of BY fields it misaligns the grids, the offset
increasing as you go along the page.

It's supposed to be fixed in 769 but is not.

I just ran Francis' code in 7.6.10 and it seems to be fine. I added 6 BY fields and it still looks fine. Maybe it is fixed. What say you, JG?
