[CLOSED] performace issue with FOCUS INDEX command
table XXX print * ON TABLE HOLD AS &EXECHLDFILE FORMAT FOCUS INDEX SUPHG_EMP_ID
this query is performing differently in two different server, one takes 4 minute to execute and the other takes 11 minute, what could be the reason?This message has been edited. Last edited by: Kerry,

Is your input file sorted by Employee Id (your index field) on one server, and sorted by something else, on the other server?

Memory available, other processes, version of software, etc.
