how to zoom in esri map to US only ?

The easiest way to do that is to have a WHERE COUNTRY EQ 'United States'; in your chart.

Not that one i am trying to use the zoom property but it isn't working.

Are you using App Studio or InfoAssist/CD?

In App Studio after you define the data layer, you should be able to set the Default Extent to On. For more details please see User Guide page 852.
