I have a HTML page which can be accessed by two different user groups. Based upon the user, seperate HTML pages will be opened. The user accessing the page can be found out using the siteminder. Can anybody please tell me what are the different WF &variables which will be required to gather the information about the group to which the particular user belongs to.
I am using WebFocus 7.1.4 version.
Thanks in advance.

You need a user table to indicate the user's group. Based on the value of the user's group, you go to different html page. The user group information should be obtained when he/she signs in.

Aparna :
If you want to see all amper-variables that exist at any point of execution in a FOCUS fex, you can use the following DM command

-? &
-EXIT

This will display all User/Application generated amper-vars and most FOCUS environment variables that you can use (Dates, User-Ids,etc.) in your fex.
-*
Like Lusheng says, I would then design a database-driven application to query the Group that the user belongs to, and divert to the appropriate Launch pages.
Suggest that you design this database for future use in similar situations. The table could have the following 3 fields for starters -
APP_NAME (a quick acronym, say APP1 for this one)
USR_ID
USR_GRP
-*
