I actually never worked with it - I just rescued the disc from the bin.

For me, it's Mainframe FOCUS > PC FOCUS > WebFOCUS.

What's next, CloudFOCUS?

I just dumped boxes and boxes of 'FOCUS for Windows' and 'PC FOCUS' diskettes and CDs. I should have kept disk one from each batch.

I think we bought our first PC FOCUS in the mid-80's, when it first came out. Does anyone remember IBI also offering Mac, Atari ST and Commodore Amiga versions? They may have just been rumored or betas only.

I remember our head office moved, and we were without the mainframe for a week.

I shifted the report I was working on to pc FOCUS.

After acouple of minor changes....

MF took 5 minutes
PC took 5 hours.

There are more, Waz. I think this may have been Gerry's personal modern art collection?

MMeager, I saw an actual working alpha version of MacFocus in the late 80's here in the old IBI Dallas office. The demo was on an early color Mac. The company I worked with at the time, VMX, owned VaxFocus and we merged with a California company, Opcom, that was Mac-centric. So they were very excited about the MacFocus potential. Alas, it never did.
