Hi,

We are unable to view application's content under environments tree even though selected show all on App Studio/webfocus client.

Please let us know/suggest if any changes required on settings.

1. What changed? Did you upgrade? Does App Studio version match the WebFOCUS Reporting Server version?
2. Does this happen with a specific application or all applications?
3. Do you see the Data Servers and Domains? What happens when you double click them? Do they expand to the APP directories or Domain names?

-- Only host name is changed and everything else is the same
-- App Sudio version: 8201
-- Reporting server version: not sure, could you please let me know how do I check.

2. Does this happen with a specific application or all applications?
-- All Applications

3. Do you see the Data Servers and Domains? What happens when you double click them? Do they expand to the APP directories or Domain names?
-- Yes we are able to see the Data servers and domains, when we double click on the app folder nothing is showing up under the app folder and its not expanding also.

Master_Reboot

To check the server version, in the upper right hand corner of App Studio there is a drop down WebFOCUS Administration and choose Reporting Server console. Then when that comes up in there is a ? in the top right corner when you click on it one of the options is version.

One thing I wanted to mention is that there is a line of icons at the top of the Environment tree. Make sure the second one called All Files is selected.

Thank you for using Focal Point!

Are you using the Projects area (If not, don't stop reading)?
We have issues where users cannot see files in there created by other users and/or cannot add files to projects created by other users. IBI hasn't been able to reproduce the issue, but they suspect a permissions issue - we're unable to find one though and the symptoms disprove that theory.

Users can see all the expected files when going through the EDASERVE in the tree in App Studio (8.1.05M in our case).

We see the same symptoms when looking at the app directories from the WebFOCUS client (at port :8080/ibi_apps) as different users - some files are visible and some aren't and that matches what the same users see when going through the Projects area.

IBI keeps telling us that the Projects area is deprecated, but the problem is clearly not limited to the Projects area and besides, we need projects to be able to deploy our reports to the production server!
