[SOLVED] Traffic light condition

Hello I want to implement a traffic light condition for car table.
If the car sales are higher than 3000 I want to show a red image in an column and if less than 8000 then green light.
How do I go about it using a DEFINE ??

use compute field with image tag,

 TABLE FILE CAR
SUM SALE
COMPUTE IMAGE/A50 = IF(SALES GT 3000) THEN '<IMG SRC="/approot/ibisamp/images/1.png">' ELSE '<IMG SRC="/approot/ibisamp/images/2.png">';
BY CAR

First thanks a lot for your suggestion!!

But is there a way to do so using DEFINE or macros since i tried that and maybe the image path is not being identified thats why its giving me an error!!

Since when i use DEFINE FILE it throws an error for parsing no matter what name I use for filename even if i use CAR

you can use same syntax in define .

quote:
/approot/ibisamp/images/1.png

in given path my file location(1.png ) is(EDASERVE)
C:\ibi\apps\ibisamp\images
So please select your path accordingly

This implies that you do not understand coding within WebFOCUS or the constructs.

Ask your management for training - I think that you would benefit from it.

We can and will help with questions on how to achieve things but basic training is asking too much.
