Hi all,

I have used the 'APP HOLD mag'command to store the output file(.ftm file) in the application 'mag'.Now i want to access the .ftm file for another report created in another application.
Any suggessions????Pls let me kno....

To do that you need two things - the data file (.ftm) and the master file (.mas).
The data file is made accessible by issueing the APP FI magfile DISK mag/magfile.ftm command.
The master file has to be present in the server's search path. You can dot his by either adding it to the application list in the edasprof.prf file, or by issuing a APP APPENDPATH mag or APP PREPENDPATH mag command.

Use the APP FI or FILEDEF command in the other program to reference the hold file.
