i have a synonym created using host adapter to connect to mainframe. now in Data Migrator i created a synonym (EDA) and when i try to do sample data i get 'field conversion error/key'
after examination the issue is because of packed data fields...

an example of one such field is

FIELD=BALANCE, ALIAS=E65, USAGE=P20.2, ACTUAL=P10

i tried using the PTOA function but it didnt helped me....

what other tricks i can do to make this work.

The Data migrator one or the other one ?

I guess from your comments that fields other than packed work.
