Hi All,

Greetings...!

I am trying to create a report in AppStudio InfoAssist using the cube. This is working for some Administrator users and the same is not working for some users for some reason. I am getting the error " An unrecoverable error has occurred, We are sorry for the inconvenience. ". When I press the More Information about the error I see the below message from GUI.

Code: 1017 Type: xFDMinit
Parent not found for cube Metadata fieldname = [FieldName] etc.,

Code: 2029 Type: xFDMinit
Parent not found for cube Metadata fieldname = [FieldName] etc.,

Anyone can help me on this issue to resolve it and I don't have much knowledge about AppStudio.

Welcome to Focal Point.

Can you please try the same report in Dev Studio if possible? Let's eliminate whether it is an InfoAssist issue or not.

What type of CUBE and which version of WebFOCUS are you using?

Hi Tamra,

Below are the requested details:

Cube - MSSQL
Webfocus - Version 8

Additional information: The report works fine for majority of users, however the issue is only with handfull of users. We have confirmed that there are access/roles/security issues.
Ex: a user X with same roles/access/computer and credential as user Y can access the report whereas user Y cannot.User Y gets the following error.

Code: 1017 Type: xFDMinit

Parent not found for cube Metadata fieldname = '[Account].[Account Hierarchy].Account_Account_Hierarchy_Account_Group_Name' getGroupingId() = '[Account].[Account Hierarchy]LEVEL' getGrouping() = '[Account].[Account Hierarchy]' getGroupingType() = 'LEVEL' false .........................etc

This issue seems to be more complex than what can be handled within the Forum. Can you please open a case and a technical representative will be able to help you out. Please add the type of cube (MSSQL)and version of WebFOCUS 8 you are running along with the error messages.

Please update the Forum with your final resolution, that way other members can benefit from your resolution.
