I have a local access file on my system. How can I create an adapter to access it?
Can anyone help on this?

Do you mean a Microsoft Access database? If so, you Add the database in Windows > Control Panel > Administrative Tools > Data Sources (ODBC) > System Data Sources tab. Then, on the WebFOCUS Server Console > Data Adapters pane you add a new data adapter connection for the MS Access database as defined in the ODBC Data Source.

And if you're using it in a multi-user environment (i.e. a full WF server as opposed to a DevStudio installation) it's an additional license and associated cost.
