Is there anyway of passing parameters into the fex that is associated with a dynamic address in ReportCaster? If not, are there any ReportCaster system variables that are accessible to the fex during execution?

When you talk about dynamic addresses in Report Caster, that usually means there is a procedure somewhere to get those addresses. Use the logic & parameters in that procedure in your fex. The only way to pass variables from RC into a procedure is through the advanced button where it allows you to specify parameters and values. There are no "Report Caster system variables", per se, but all the same system variables available to WF are available to a job run from RC.

Thanks Darin,

Maybe my question wasn't clear enough. On the distribution page of a scheduled job, I am able to choose Dynamic Address as an option and choose a fex to execute that will set the 'VALUE' and 'DEST' fields for ReportCaster to pick for emailing. There are no capabilities on this page to set parameters to pass into the fex and, as far as I can tell, the fex has no access to the 'procedural stack' of other fexes w/in the scheduled job ( I hope I'm mistaken on this point). I would like to be able to utilize the same fex w/slight, parameter-driven variations for other scheduled jobs to set up the email recipients.

Thanks for the info Dav(e). It looks like I will have to go that direction. It may be naive of me but it seems that adding the ability to pass parameters into the dyn addr fex wouldn't be much of a enhancement for IBI to do...
