Hi All,

Greetings,

I am trying to generate a report with more than 2 Lacs records in a Excel report.

For some reason I am not getting the report generated and when I checked in the reporting server console for status. The status says that the agent was crashed message.

For some scenarios the report is getting generated with more than 1 lacs(up to 1,60,000) records.

Error Details:

localizeddesc="Abnormal termination of reporting server agent (Crashed or extreme operator kill)" name="runAdHocFex" returncode="32027" returndesc="IBFSException 32027: probable server crash (unknown error 0)"

Record Count and Status details:

success - 98434
success- 4889

failed (same error message as below) - 392940
failed (same error message as below)- 5588

success-116741
failed (same error message as below)- 5498

Whenever the no. of records fetched are too high we are getting the below error message screen. Find the below image.

Do you happen to have ERROROUT = ON? If so, turn it OFF and see whether you still get the crash.

I know that sounds weird, but usually when we get agent crashes these days, it's due to ERROROUT being ON.

If this helps for you, there's probably a FOC-error somewhere that was hidden by the agent crash.

Hi Wep5622,

Thanks for your reply.

I don't know how to configure the setting ERROROUT = ON(OFF).

Can you please let me know whether I need to write this code into the .FEX file (or) Do i need to change this setting in reporting server console.

Awaiting for your esteemed response.

Regards,
Suresh

Either is possible, but for testing I would put it in the fex.

I tried it with -SET ERROROUT= OFF;in my .FEX file and this didn't helped me to sort out the issue.

Still i am getting the same crash error.

Let me know is that syntax is correct.

No, it isn't. Check the documentation on the syntax of ERROROUT.

Hi ,

I am not able to find a document for syntax for ERROROUT. I tried in Focal Point and could not find a way to write it in .FEX file.

Can you please let me know how to set-up this in reporting server console.

Please give an example with CAR file.
Regards,
Suresh

1. See: http://infocenter.ibi.com/wf80/index.jsp
2. Go to the 'Index' tab[1]
3. Type ERROROUT in the 'words to find' field.

Ad 1. Webteam, how are we supposed to catch on to the fact that there are (very relevant) tabs at the bottom? They're hardly visible; there isn't much contrast between white and almost white and the icons on them are meaningless (and you have room for text!).

The 'Search'-field on top only serves to confuse, as that's not how you search inside the docs apparently (try to find the documentation of -? SET using that).

It's worse when you're using a modern browser (such as Firefox) that only shows its status bar when necessary, right over those tabs.
