Hi:
I'm looking for information on the SaveSelection button control on the HTML Layout Painter.
I can't get the button to be active. I've tried 7.1.1, 7.1.3, 7.6. Does anyone have any experience with this control or know how to use it?

TIA.
Greg

Hi Greg,
You need to have an entry in MRE (save parameter values) checked to see the save button.
(Managed Reporting Administration -> Users ->
Under My Reports, Check the box for Save Entered values.)
Hope this helps.

Thanks, Rich. You did help me learn another thing about the user management.

But what's confusing me is that there is a control button on each of the HTML Layout Painter's refernced in my original note as SaveSelection Button Control. When you mouse over it it says it displays this info.

But I can't get it to layout a button.

Anyone have any other ideas?

TIA.
Greg

For future information, I found the solution.

To put the 'SaveSelection' button on an HTML form you must do the following:
1. Use HTML Layout Painter in Managed Reporting.
2. Have one or more controls connected to & variables OR put the button on the page as your first object. Not sure why for the second part but it seemed to work.

There may be more to this but this is what I have so far.

I hope others find this helpful.
