I have a table in MS Access that our programmer loads to use in WebFocus. In the conversion, the field formats get a 'V' added to the end, example A20V, making the field variable. Programmer stated I need to set the fields in MS Access to not be variable. Fields are set as Text and all properties set to no. Any ideas on this fix? Thank you.

You need to add the SET VARCHAR=OFF in your server profile for your MS Access driver and regenerate your master file. There are several other references to this issue on the forum - search for VARCHAR.

Hi,
You can remove the V from the master file , add
in your procedures code SET VARCHAR=OFF

Darin's suggestion is the proper way to correct this issue.
