Hello,

When I try logging into Report Caster I'm receiving an error message of "The Distribution Server is started in console mode. Additional configuration may be required to connect to the ReportCaster repository". I've never received this before. And as far as I know nothing has changed. What would cause this message? Also, how do I fix it?

Have you tried to reboot the server ?

Under WF7 using Derby DB as for the DB for RC, it as due to Derby log tat was too large and a clear of logs with a reboot solve the issue.
But with WF8 where it's a SQL DB haven't had issue yet with RC.

So maybe rebooting your server may re-synch WF ReportingServer, DistributionServer and WF Report Caster services.

Maybe a change have been applied somewhere in configuration and it's not properly configured.

Try the reboot.


WF versions : Prod 8.2.04M gen 33, Dev 8.2.04M gen 33, OS : Windows, DB : MSSQL, Outputs : HTML, Excel, PDF
