Hi, I am using the developer studio 7.6.2 ,

The reports we developed has the correct physical view initially , and when we save the reports and reopening the same reports disturbs the whole physical view and the whole report appears as a single comment. The reporting server is in AIX machine.

when i see the text view the whole report code is appearing in a single line.

Also when the reports are developed locally it is fine, it happens only when we use the remote reporting server.

Kindly help me on this issue.

Thanks,
Srini

Srini,

Is this MRE, Projects, Data Servers, which? I am running 762 with a remote backend of unix using Data Servers and we do not have this problem.

Are you using the standard MRE editor or your own? Web FOCUS condenses the code and then expands it in edit. The editor you use has to handle it. For example a fex generated in MRE with the editor if opened with notepad is all one line, if opened with wordpad looks just fine.

So, do you still have a problem or are you all set? Not clear from your last post.
