http://www.informationbuilders.com/new/newsletter/4-4/09_WF_Web_services.html

and came to know that there is some utility present in

http://machinename/ibi_ html/workbnch/webservice.htm Path which is used to create WSDL.

BUT THERE IS NO SUCH PATH avialable in my machine.

Please can anybody help me .......What went wrong..? Is there is some installaion problem or I have to install some additional components.

Did you install the webserver before WebFOCUS? i.e. IIS etc. If you didn't then I suggest you uninstall WebFOCUS and then install your webserver followed by reinstalling WebFOCUS which will set up the required aliases within your webservice for you.

If you are still having problems after that then contact your local support desk and ask for assistance there.

WebFOCUS WebServices is a Add-On to WebFOCUS. I am using 7.1 and the url is there. As on Add-on to WebFOCUS you must be licensed to use the WebServices. It also has .NET controls for the intergration into .NET.

Hi,

For more information on how to create Web Services for WebFOCUS features, see the WebFOCUS Web Services Version 7.1 manual (DN4500715.0505) or the WebFOCUS Web Services Version 5.3 manual (DN4500609.0904).

Both versions of this manual describe the function calls required to implement the capability.

I hope this is useful.

Best,
Jennifer
