Usually you have access to your data via data adapters purchased for use with WebFOCUS. Once you have an adapter connection you create synonyms (meta data) for the tables you wish to report against.

And once you have access to the data, then it is just a question of creating a report. That report is standard equipped with rows and columns, each row representing a set of fields for one record; the fields are the columns in the report.
If that is not what you're looking for, please explain a bit more about your situation.

MAINTAIN is the tool to use to create and update data tables, but you have to license that separately with WebFOCUS. Also DataMigator is the IBI ETL tool for moving data.
