In all of our tabbed OLAP reports, the drop down lists at the top don't show all the possible values.

For example, it only shows customers up to the "B"'s.

Is there a default limitation somewhere we can turn off?

I don't know if there are any limitation specific to OLAP drop-down values, but I have encountered this problem before caused by an undesirable character like ". There are other characters that cause OLAP to go berserk. Basically, OLAP converts the data results of your TABLE FILE into one big javascript code, so if there is some character in the data that javascript is sensitive to, it may not be properly handled.

well, I looked at the data and I don't really see anything other than straight text.

Actually it does this on all the dropdowns. I have a list of customer numbers, which is system defined as 6 digit numbers, and it stops after loading only a handful.

Jason, can you post your code? Although, I'm on 7.1.3, there might be something we can spot check...

The solution is in this document .

Basically the drop down is limited to 500, this extends that. I've tested and it works in 7.6

I am unable to open the document in the posting by Alan B and am experiencing the limit in the drop-down list. Is there somewhere else that I can get that?

The OLAP limit has been raised to 5000 in release 7.6.9, hence the document was removed as it was no longer valid.

The best approach is to open a case with IBI and ask for the technique. Remember that this technique is not supported.
