According to WebFOCUS EXL07/XLSX Format Supported Features Release Roadmap, by 8103 there should be support for wrap in Excel 2007. We are on 8104, and I want to apply automatic wrapping or squeezing for all columns, not have to set each one individually, because the length of the data in each field can vary.

It appears that I can only use numeric values for WRAP, but cannot do WRAP=ON.

For instance, this works:
TYPE=REPORT, WRAP=4,$


But none of these options have any effect:
TYPE=REPORT, WRAP=ON,$
TYPE=REPORT, SQUEEZE=ON,$
TYPE=REPORT, COLUMN=N5, WRAP=ON,$

According to the doc, the setting of ON has specific rules in the case of WRAP= as follows:

ON is the default value for HTML report output. For PDF, PS, DHTML, PPT, and PPTX report 
output, WRAP is set OFF by default. For these positioned output formats in which the location 
of each item in the report is explicitly defined, WRAP = ON is not a valid value, except 
when specified for ACROSSVALUE. For other elements of the report, such as headers, 
footers, titles, or data, define the width of wrapped lines by using a numeric value, as in 
WRAP = n. For HTML reports, WRAP is supported with all fields. For PDF reports, WRAP is 
supported only with embedded fields, not text.


If you're trying to get a long text field to wrap, it would make sense to tell WebFOCUS the width of the column so it can wrap based on that number.

Yes, with a specific numeric value, but ON doesn't work with EXL07 it seems. Some of the fields are really short, less than 10 characters, but it won't size the cells to the data.
