What is the syntax for centering a variable for a report title in the pdf layout tool? This is the line of code and I can not find any way to do this. When I am in the tool and center this text, it assigns the exact position. This variable, &&reportNameReport, can be 10 characters long or 100. Setting the exact position obviously will not work.

OBJECT=STRING, NAME='text1', TEXT='&&reportNameReport', ITEM=1, POSITION=(2.750, 2.000), MARKUP=OFF, WRAP=ON, DIMENSION=(7.000 0.250), FONT='ARIAL', COLOR=RGB(0 0 0), STYLE=BOLD, SIZE=8, $

Laurie,

Try adding JUSTIFY=CENTER to the statement.

Thanks!

I have a text column that has "Series I Related Credits Outstanding" in it.

If I use JUSTIFY=CENTER is staggers the words so it looks like Related, Credits and Outstanding are indented. If I use JUSTIFY=LEFT, it left justifies all words.

I want to see the words centered in relation to the word above it (when wrapped).

Is there any way to do this?
