All FOCUS releases have statistical capabilities provided by ANALYSE FILE command.
(up to 64 variables, basic and complex statistical operations including linear and polynomial regression ..) Smiler

Statistical Analysis User's Manual for more information.

Unfortunately, WebFOCUS doesn't include this command. Confused

Regards,
Mikel

WebFocus Release 5.2.x and above has several
statistical processes.
Under the topic of REGRESS in the documentation , which is online, you will see how to use this
function in a COMPUTE, eg
COMPUTE NEWVAL/D5=REGRESS(F1, F2 ... )..
The max number of independent variables is probably above 16.
Plus, there are a number of forecasting functions also documented.

Ok, Now in FOCUS 7.3 and WebFOCUS 5.2.x, we have the new functions REGRESS and FORECAST.

(I forgot to review the new 5.2 new features) Wink

Thanks, I found the HELP notes - seems a bit weak, they state can only use 3 independent variables.

Do you know if I can purchase and use ANALYSIS with 5.2 versions of WebFocus? Any idea how much it costs?

Thanks again for the direction.
