WebFocus does not create pivot charts, it creates pivot tables.

EXL2K PIVOT Tables generated by WebFocus Can not use the TEMPLATE functionality.

So WebFocus cannot generate EXCEL Pivot charts

The only option is to generate your output as EXL2K PIVOT table and let the user create their own charts

I use an Excel template containing two sheets, one has a command button on it the calls the VBA code, the other receives the data.

In the heading of the data I pass control fields that are used to compile the pivot table which is achieved via the VBA code. Part of the VBA code also creates a chart from the pivot table that it creates.

A roundabout method of creating a pivot table and chart but at least I can do it from "within" WebFOCUS (or as far as the end user is concerned anyway ).

That's the principle but can you code it?
