We have databars in some of our reports, but we seem to be stuck with the basic color range.

TYPE=DATA, COLUMN=N5, GRAPHTYPE=DATA, GRAPHCOLOR='YELLOW', $

We are looking more for something like this: RGB(254, 206, 66)

Is there no way to use RGB, COLOR, or some other method to get colors outside "named" colors? We get errors any time we use RGB or COLOR, so we are a bit confused.

Try without coma between numeric values of your colors:

GRAPHCOLOR=RGB(254 206 66),

This is the way it should be.

I did.. I tried with COLOR as well. Looks like GRAPHCOLOR doesn't support anything but a preset of "Named" colors. Oddly enough, when I make it, YELLOW, then open it in InfoAssist, it's red, but if I have SAVE, InfoAssist changes it to

Check in below article from Susannah
GRAPHTYPE – Kicked Up a Notch

You need to edit the file in /ibi_html/vis/ directory.

Thanks,

Sorry, I've been out for the last week.

Yea, I've read that one a while back, but it's not what we were looking for. I've since then found it's a limitation of the method and have requested they allow GRAPHCOLOR to use RGB. Hopefully a future addition.
