I have a question. While using the precision report painter the Precision Tool Box is missing. When I toggle between source and report it appears briefly then disappears. Documentation states that it can be hidden or displayed from view/toolbars menu. But I see nothing there that enables and disables the Precision Tool Box. Can anyone please help with this? Thanks

Hello fpompizzi,

Welcome to Focal Point.

For any one who might interested in the documentation the following link provides details on how to open the Precision Reporting tool within Dev Studio.

I am checking into this for you and will post an update with the information.

fpompizzi,

This is a copy of the information from in your other focal point topic regarding precision reports always appearing.

The options for the report may have been changed please verify the following:
- click on 'Window' in the Dev Studio tool bar
- select Options
- click on the Reporting tab
- verify what the value is in the Default Report Template
- for the default report painter - table1.ftp or table2.ftp
- for precision reports - pixper.ftp

If the pixper.ftm is set as the option then all reports will start in precision mode.
Change the value to table1.ftp. The reports will start in regular report mode, then select the precision report icon if you want to continue with precision report. Once you select the icon you can not convert back.
