7706 server w/ 7705 client bug - and fix [SHARING]
found a bug that crippled me, but ibi tech support had already a fix for it, just in case anyone out there is upping to the just-released 7706 server (win2008). server console workspace special services and Listeners right click on tcp/http and click on http properties set CSRF_TOKEN to 0 from its default 1 setting. save and restart the wfrs. .... this 1 setting is something good for wf8, so there's a reason for it. ... Now you can actually read your tables, mine are oracle. Now you can actually create a synonym from your app in the mre applet. Now you can actually create your connections in your edasprof. Now you can actually go home for dinner! thank you tech support! This message has been edited. Last edited by: susannah,

Thanks for sharing susannah. I would have gone crazy not being able to read my data tables or to create connections in edasprof.prf. Really hard to figure out a fix for something like that without Tech Support's assistance
i don't know George, i was on 768, so i'm having fun with 7706 . i love the server console. so considering my antique pov, dunno. 7706 is functionally 8, i'm told. just with some 8-only stuff turned off... i'm told... ps. actually... i did have 7705 installed, but hadn't done anything yet, so i got an early 7706 (812 build) and installed it (its mindlessly simple to install OVER another version), and then again installed the 813 build the day it came out. Figured i'ld get started with whatever was freshest.

Thanks for the headsup! I would go crazy if I couldn't go home for dinner!
