Hi, what is the rule to have EQ HOLD working?

My fex is not working anymore to a specific field. I couldn´t filter it anymore using:

TABLE FILE MSRSD37_SUBSEGMENT
BY SRSD37_SUBSEGMENT_X
IF SRSD37_SUBSEGMENT_X NE ''
ON TABLE HOLD AS HTEST
END

TABLE FILE MSRSD37_SUBSEGMENT
BY SRSD37_SUBSEGMENT_X
IF SRSD37_SUBSEGMENT_X EQ (HTEST)
END

I am able to filter using other filds, but I cant filter usint that SRSD37_SUBSEGMENT_X

Is SRSD37_SUBSEGMENT_X perhaps a variable length text field (AnV)? In that case, the hold-file contains values that start with a numeric length section. Those values won't match in your later IF condition.

Yes, it is a A50V field.

I will change it to A50.

Thanks
