We are embarking on a migration from WebFocus 5.3 on AIX to 7.6 on Windows, and I wondered if I could get some advice on what folks thought was the best point release of Developer Studio 7.6.

By best I mean the most stable and reliable.

TIA,

Regards,
Dave

imho. 768, always go with the most current, unless you know of some specific reason not to.
for example, i need launch pages that work in firefox 3, and so i need the latest and greatest.

Susannah,

quote:
always go with the most current

That's not my mantra, I don't believe in working on the 'bleeding edge', but prefer using a stable version with known behavior. Smiler

We aren't looking for new features, so much, and will be doing a good deal of Maintain.

So, which 7.6 release is the least problematic ?

Dave

7.6.8 is a maintenance release fairly far down the chain of 7.6 releases so it is not bleeding edge. New features are only in the odd-numbered maintenance releases.

I would trust Susannah.
