This will work fine for PDF report output.

SET BYDISPLAY=ON

DEFINE FILE CAR
 COL1/A60 = COUNTRY || ';' || CAR ;
 COL2/A60 = MODEL || ';' || BODYTYPE;
 COL3/A30 = 'DC:' || FTOA(DEALER_COST,'(F7C)','A9') || '^' || 'RC:' || FTOA(RETAIL_COST,'(F7C)','A9') ;
 COL1_CR/A60=CTRAN(60, COL1, 059, 013, COL1_CR);
 COL2_CR/A60=CTRAN(60, COL2, 059, 013, COL2_CR);
 COL3_CR/A30=CTRAN(30, COL3, 094, 013, COL3_CR);
END
TABLE FILE CAR
BY COL1_CR AS 'Country/,Car'
BY COL2_CR AS 'Model/,Body Type'
BY COL3_CR AS 'Dealer_Cost/,Retail_Cost'
-*BY Col2_CR AS ''
ON COL1_CR SKIP-LINE
ON COL2_CR SKIP-LINE
ON TABLE SET PAGE NOLEAD
ON TABLE PCHOLD FORMAT PDF
ON TABLE SET STYLE *
TYPE=REPORT,LINEBREAK='CR',$

SET BYDISPLAY and creating DEFINE fields can be done in Dev Studio. Am not sure on how to enable LINEBREAK='CR' in Styling.

In ver 7.6.10 you can right click on the field, select "Options" from the pop up menu, then the "General" Tab. Within the "Output" section you'll see the check box option for "New Line (OVER)".

Hope this helps

I just took that code, put it in the text editor and was able to bring it up in the gui - a minor error with a comment which is pretty obvious to find.
