Report Caster jobs are stored in a database. I would have your DBA's restore.

you're already been to the welcome page/report caster console and/or the report caster application? yes?
The report caster tool gives you access to the 'jobs'... so i'm not sure what you mean when use the word 'restore' in reference to the 'jobs', in the same sentence as the 'database' ....

as already said... caster jobs are stored in a db. tables like botsched, bottask etc.

If you deleted a job and want to restore it then you will need a restore of the tables in the DB. If you do not have a backup of the tables and/or the db then you will not be able to do a restore.

Hi,

That would depend on what type of database you are using for your report caster repository. Are you using Oracle, Sql server something else ? Or are you using focus files ? The focus files are the only ones that would really have a path. The others would require a DBA to restore and for 1 schedule it might not make sense to do a restore.
