Hi,

I have an issue with form/iframe tag when we are dealing for displaying the report in EXL07 format.
-HTMLFORM BEGIN
<script>
function loadIFrame()
{
document.getElementById('PBar').style.display = "none";
}
</script>
<form name="Excel" id="Excel" action="WFServlet" target="Export" method="post">
<input type="hidden" name=""      value="">
<input type="hidden" name=""         value="">
<input id="btnExcel" type="button" value="Excel" class="main_buttons" onclick="CallExport('E1');"
</form>
<iframe id="Export" name="Export" width="80%" height="80%" frameborder="0" scrolling="Yes" onload="loadIFrame();">
</iframe>
-HTMLFORM END

The behavior of loadIFrame() is, when we click on the Excel button then animated GIF image will be active until report popup showing to the user. The above function loadIFrame() is working as expected when we use EXL2K where as it is not working when we use EXL07(animated GIF image is still active even after getting report).

I would like to have same behavior even if I use EXL07.

I've seen this happen with CSV format.

A possible solution is to verify that the Redirection Settings (accessible via the WebFOCUS Client Administration Console) are the same for .xht (EXL2K) and .xlsx (EXL07).

Documentation: Administering WebFOCUS > WebFOCUS Administration Console > Configuration Settings > Changing Redirection Settings.

Note: doing this may have other unwanted effects - from my experience, the Redirection Settings impacts more than one feature, e.g. named Excel files...

We did the change what you suggested above. It's working fine.

Thank you very much for your help.
